| A Week in Keswick 17/09/2021 to 24/09/2021 42.4 miles and 8,000 feet of ascent
A welcome break after two years without a holiday, the last two being cancelled due to Covid 19. We stayed at 7 Bleach Green, Keswick, a very comfortable 2 bedroom cottage almost in the centre of town. With a forecast of unsettled weather we decided to select routes the night before each walk depending on the conditions expected. We were very fortunate that we only had rain on one day for a short time. However, as the original forecast was for a very wet day on the Wednesday we planned a trip to the Gretna Retail Outet and decided to keep to this plan even though the weather had improved.
